Overview
We are thrilled to introduce a new @mention feature, which allows you to collaborate with your peers over candidate profiles within the platform. This feature not only allows tagging on the platform but also notifies the mentioned individual via email and in-app notifications for better collaboration and communication.
Here is an image of how the UI looks now:
- The toggle for Public and Only me has been changed to a drop-down, with Public now called Everyone.
- When Everyone is selected, anyone can be tagged in the Notes section.
- A new option, Collaborators, has been introduced. With this option, you can tag other job collaborators in the notes.
- Collaborators are individuals who have access to specific jobs where the candidate is involved. When selecting Collaborators, only those tagged or mentioned can access and view the notes, ensuring security and confidentiality.

- The Only me option allows you to tag only yourself to review later by mentioning yourself. Others will not have access to that particular note where you tag yourself.
- It is now possible to tag internal users in Notes by typing the "@" symbol. You can type the user's name or email address and based on the entered text, the system will detect and pre-populate potential matches.
- Only users with viewing/editing permissions on the requisition can be tagged, ensuring data security and compliance.
- When a user is tagged in a note, they receive an email and an in-app notification. The email includes a link to the candidate profile, allowing users to quickly access relevant information. Additionally, the email provides a preview of the tagged note and identifies the user who tagged it, enhancing user experience.
This is how the notification appears in the email:
- The in-app notification shows who tagged you and the preview of the note content.
This is how the notification appears in the app: - You can manage your tagged notification preferences by toggling the options in User Notifications.
With these enhancements, we aim to elevate user experience, streamline workflows, and foster effective collaboration among users within our platform. We're excited to see how these features enhance your interactions and productivity!
