Skillate allows you to have job templates ready in prior to creating a new job. For creating job templates on Skillate, follow the below steps:


  1. Navigate to the Settings > Job Setup > Job Templates.

  2. Click on +Create.

  3. Add a name for the job template.

  4. Click on Continue.

  5. In the following page, choose how do you want to create the new job template from the three options.


  1. From Template:

    1. In the following page, choose a department and location. 

    2. All the related jobs will be listed down.

    3. Choose a job and click on Continue.

    4. You can choose the information that should be copied to the new template. And click on Continue.

    5. All the selected information from the chosen job will be copied for the template.

    6. Click on Create and Continue after reviewing them.

    7. In the following page, you can set up the scorecard for the job.

    8. Apart from the copied details, you can also import sections or add new sections by clicking on the respective buttons.

    9. Add sample questions (if required).

    10. Click on Continue and you will find the created template in the following screen.

    11. Switch between About and Scorecard to view the respective details.

  2. From an existing job:

    1. In the following page, choose a department and location.

    2. All the related jobs will be listed down.

    3. Choose a job and click on Continue.

    4. You can choose the information that should be copied to the new template. And click on Continue.

    5. All the selected information from the chosen job will be copied for the template.

    6. Click on Create and Continue after reviewing them.

    7. In the following page, you can set up the scorecard for the job.

    8. Apart from the copied details, you can also import sections or add new sections by clicking on the respective buttons.

    9. Add sample questions (if required).

    10. Click on Continue and you will find the created template in the following screen.

    11. Switch between About and Scorecard to view the respective details.

  3. Start from Scratch:

    1. In the following page, add the job details.

    2. Click on Create and Continue.

    3. You can further set up scorecard for the job by clicking on +Create or Importing group of sections or adding a section.

    4. Add sample questions (if required).

    5. Click on Continue you will find the created template in the following screen.

    6. Switch between About and Scorecard to view the respective details.


Upon creating the template, it will be available to use from Settings > Job Setup > Job Templates. The same will be available to choose from while creating a new job.
